When it all goes wrong

Ive had some good games these last few weeks. In fact I haven't lost a game since the last tournament here. (that means I'm set up for a 0-3 run at the tourney) This post is not to boast, its not to say I am the bestest, because I know I'm not. This is about the other side of the table, what do you do when no matter where you turn everything is turning to crap.

Agggh its friday already?!

Its been a CRAZY week for me getting off of vacation and getting caught back up at work. Monday my legs felt like 2 lead pipes that just didn't want to move. Tuesday I got a game in at the store with nurgle and his guard. (hes gone all Eore on me and started ranting about how he cant play his guard the way he wants now. Sorry man my DE are just not the cookie cutter army to play against.) Wednesday i went to a meeting to try and set up an Alumni Association for my HS football team and stayed out wayyyyyyyy to late. Yesterday consisted of me coming home and falling into a coma too early in the evening and tonight I was running around everywhere.

BUT!
I have started on the Khorne army. The bloodcrusher/thunderwolves are built and I am finishing painting on the last 2 out of 7. I have got 5 bezerkers painted and have converted up all the bases for the next box. My melta guns haven't showed up yet so that is why they aren't done yet. Saturday i will get to the store and hopefully they will be there.

Saturday I have to work because the powers that be decided that me reading meters on the beach was a great thing apparently so I will be dragging my stinky butt to the store late. Probably no gaming for me so more painting will be done. I did play a quick game with a guy out here in my town who found me trough this website. (yeah I didn't know anyone read this either.) and I have made a battle report for it that I will post early next week.

Other than that I am going to bed to let the recovery commence.

Bald and Screaming

Alright I'm back from a week long vacation and ready to get back into the interwebz again. So here it is, another instalment of 40k as I see it. (Or a weird look at the history of 40k)

I was on the phone last night with the woman and i said. "I don't know what to write about on the website I'm just drawing a blank." She suggested that I talk about the different armies there are in 40k and soon I had morphed her response into a sick and twisted version of a review article. So here is the first installment of it.

Next army ideas

So the Dark Eldar are done. I have 2000+ points that I am happy with until they officially release venoms.
So with that in mind its time for a new army because I am addicted to plastic crack. I have decided on a fluffy style army because I need another army for the noobs to beat on in the store when i am trying to teach. The deathwing is getting a revamp due to the new FAQ so they might someday get semi-competitive. So without further ado here is the new direction.
